About Me
From Sharon's earliest memories, the love of art has had a profound impact on her life. Although she enjoyed all subjects in school, art was her favorite from grade school to high school. Art was her minor in college. After starting a family soon after her schooling was accomplished, art got put on the sidelines except for the occasional school project with the kids. After raising her four children, she had a great desire to get back into watercolors after attending an art show. She enrolled in an art class and began creating. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and the classes stopped. She continued to paint throughout the pandemic on almost a daily basis. While most people had a difficult time being cooped up month after month, Sharon could hardly wait to sit down with her paints and brushes and create beautiful paintings. As the pandemic began to lessen, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed to continue to isolate herself so she didn't become sick throughout her treatments. Creating art has been a great way to find joy and satisfaction over the past few years. Sharon hopes you will enjoy her art as much as she has enjoyed creating it.
